The 2017 Lincoln Continental is almost here, and we know you're excited to experience all of the new features and the performance it has to offer. But we also know that you're interested in learning how this revived model compares to the top luxury sedans on the market.

So Norm Reeves Lincoln has created this 2017 Lincoln Continental vs. Cadillac CT6 comparison to help you see how this new model stacks up to one of the most popular luxury sedans in Cerritos, Anaheim, and Long Beach.

Power and Performance

The 2017 Lincoln Continental and the Cadillac CT6 are both capable of producing exceptional power and performance. The Lincoln Continental is powered by an all-new 3.0-liter V6 engine with twin turbochargers. With this, you're expected to get up to a 400 horsepower. The Continental also comes with an available all-wheel-drive system.

On top of that, this sedan comes with Lincoln Drive Control. This allows you to choose from three different suspension system and steering configurations to ensure that you get the exact performance you want.

The Cadillac CT6 offers multiple engine options that produce comparable power and performance. It also includes an available all-wheel-drive system for control and stability. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer a system like Lincoln Drive Control to help you experience your perfect performance.

Comparable Technologies and Features

Both the 2017 Lincoln Continental and the Cadillac CT6 are equipped with advanced technologies. Some of these include a cutting-edge infotainment system and a premier sound system.

The 2017 Lincoln Continental offers a quiet interior with Active Noise Control and acoustic laminated glass to keep road noise out to help you better enjoy your music and any conversations.

On top of that, it comes with Perfect Position Seats. They were inspired by private jets and high-quality office furniture. Designed to ensure the highest level of comfort for your commutes, this amenity can be adjusted 30 ways. It also adjusts to your specific body shape and weight. Best of all, you can opt to add massaging, heating, and cooling features as well as thigh extensions for enhanced support.

The Cadillac CT6 also comes with a quiet interior and features comfortable seats, but they don't provide as much support as the Perfect Position Seats in the 2017 Lincoln Continental.

Lincoln Continental vs. Cadillac CT6 Safety

The Lincoln Continental is equipped with a variety of driver assist technologies like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go. It comes with a 360-degree camera as well to enhance visibility when parking and backing up.

Best of all, the 2017 Lincoln Continental features Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection. This activates a warning to slow and stop if you're coming up behind a vehicle too fast. If you don't respond, the system will automatically apply full braking force to reduce the impact or help you avoid an accident. It can also warn you at low speeds when a pedestrian suddenly walks into your path to ensure safety for everyone on the road.

The Cadillac CT6 comes with an Adaptive Cruise Control system and an advanced camera system. It also features a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, but this system may not deploy the brakes to ensure safety in certain situations.
