Lincoln Aviator Power & Performance
This
SUV will certainly add a lot to the overall mechanics that will appease
performance-based drivers. It will feature an array of powerful engine
options, but the 2020 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring model will take the
vehicle's abilities to new heights. The 3.0-liter Twin-Turbocharged V6
engine and an electric motor will enhance the abilities by providing
instant torque, allowing the combined force to deliver a remarkable 450
horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. This trim will also include the
standard five Lincoln Drive Modes, but it will even include two
additional ones:
Pure EV: This drive mode will provide an all-electric and quiet performance while improving efficiency.
Preserve EV: This particular mode will store all the engine/motor electricity to be used at a later time.
Performance Technology
The
2020 Lincoln Aviator will add a variety of performance-based
technology. This update includes the Adaptive Pixel LED Headlamps which
will offer several brightness modes, including the Speed-Dependent
Lighting to illuminate the road at greater distances to showcase what
lies ahead. The Adaptive Dynamic Bending Lighting incorporates camera
technology to read upcoming lane markings and road signs to know when to
brighten the lights.
The suspension of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator even comes equipped with technology. The available Air Glide Suspension will monitor the weight distributions and vehicle position to help achieve a smoother ride. The Adaptive Suspension with Road Preview uses a front-mounted camera to monitor the upcoming road and prepare the suspension for any changes in terrain or unseen potholes.
Convenience Technology
The Lincoln Aviator will include several convenience technology features to help add to the driving experience. The Lincoln Co-Pilot360™ Plus includes a variety of driver-assistance features like Evasive Steering Assist, Reverse Brake Assist, Active Park Assist Plus, and Traffic Jam Assist. This particular feature incorporates Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop and Go, Lane Centering, and Traffic Sign Recognition to keep you in control and aware of what's in store for the journey.
Another impressive form of technology comes with The Lincoln Way™ App, which can connect you to the vehicle from your phone. On top of allowing you to locate or remotely start/lock/unlock your ride, you can actually use your phone as your key!
